"Backflow Prevention Application" 2 CEU
This seminar will offer an overview of Cross Connection Control. It will address the history, legal structure and terminologies of cross connection control. The presenter will discuss types of cross connections, levels of hazard and most common solutions. Various backflow control devices will be displayed and explained. These will range from simple atmospheric and pressure vacuum breakers, dual checks, double check devices and reduced pressure zone valves. (Includes buffet breakfast for seminar participants)

“Tankless Water Heaters” 2 CEU
Installation and troubleshooting of tankless water heaters will be covered in this presentation. The new high efficiency, pvc vented, tankless water heater will be shown.

“HVAC / ICP Service School & Fall Pre-Season”
Wayne Varner, Regional TSA for ICP will present the latest and greatest technology from ICP. Discussion and Q&A on the 2-Stage variable speed equipment now available from ICP will be the focus for this schooling. This two hour session will cover conservation of water by following the water cycle process and the new technologies, products and behaviors that are shaping future conservation efforts. Topics covered include:

Mississippi Eco-Tour

Join First Supply for a Mississippi Explorer Cruise on the Upper Mississippi River and its unique “backwaters”. We will get off the beaten track and experience the amazing diversity of river wildlife including bald eagles, great blue herons, egrets, turtles, muskrats, lotus and lily beds, and more! Eco-Tours are about connecting people with nature and conservation, specifically the ecosystem of the Mississippi River. We will be professionally guided by a qualified expert and licensed captain. You may want to bring your camera or binoculars.

This is a 2 hour cruise that will depart at 9:00 am on Thursday August 14, 2008. We will return to the La Crosse Center for lunch. We will be cruising on a catamaran with an air conditioned cabin and also an open air deck. Please meet in the upper lobby of the South Hall of the La Crosse Center at 8:30 am. We will leave for our adventure from there.
